  • Steven Spinner, DPM, FACFAS

    Dr. Steven Spinner has been in practice since 1978. He finished his residency training at Peninsula Hospital Center in New York, after which he relocated to South Florida to enter private practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle surgeons (ACFAS). Some of his past appointments include President of the ABFAS nationally, and President of the ACFAS, Southern Division. He has been involved in training programs for residents in foot and ankle surgery since he began in private practice. Currently he is Program Director at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation, Florida. This is a nationally recognized surgery training program which has been directed by Dr. Spinner since 2004. Prior to that, he has been Director of Podiatric Medical Education at Plantation General Hospital, Florida Medical Center (South), and Southeastern Medical Center.

    Dr. Spinner currently serves as a senior member of the Examinations Committee and the Exam Oversight Committee of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. as well as a member of their Credentials Committee.

    He has lectured nationally and internationally in topics related to foot and ankle surgery, and authored numerous articles and book chapters related to those topics.

  • Fredric Chussid, DPM, FACFAS

    Dr. Fredric Chussid has been in practice since 1990. He received his Bachelors of Science degree from SUNY Stony Brook and is a graduate of The New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then relocated to South Florida where he completed his residency at Southeastern Medical Center and Fellowship training at Universal Medical Center.

    He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS). He has been active in teaching since he began private practice and is currently the Associate Program Director at Westside Regional Medical Center in Plantation Florida.

    Dr. Chussid has served on various committees of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is currently a member of the Credentials committee. He has lectured and authored numerous articles on foot and ankle surgery.

    He is very active in the community and has served on the Board of Trustees at local teaching institutions. He remains an avid athlete and participates in marathons and triathlons and enjoys surfing and skiing. He remains passionate about all aspects of foot and ankle surgery as well as Sports Medicine.

  • Madelin C. Ramil, DPM, FACFAS

    Dr. Madelin C. Ramil has been practicing foot & ankle surgery since she completed her surgical residency training program in 2000. As a Cuban- American native she is fluent in Spanish. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from UCLA in Kinesiology and graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University. She is Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and is an active fellow in the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgery (ACFAS). She has been training residents in Foot & Ankle Surgery for 20 years. Throughout her career she has worked in various wound care centers in Broward County and ran the Plantation General Hospital Foot & Ankle clinic. She is an active member of Westside Regional Hospital and Plantation General Hospital. She is passionate about surgery and wound care. As a former teacher, she continues educating high school students, medical students, and surgical residents and is actively involved in lecturing and provides training to physician in the United States, Puerto Rico and Spain. She is proud to have been involved in a medical charity through the Yucatan Crippled Children Project operating on children and adults for 17 years. She is looking forward to treating you and becoming your number one advocate.

  • Nishit Vora, DPM, MPH, FACPM

    Dr. Nishit (Nishu) Vora is a board certified, fellowship trained podiatric physician and foot & ankle surgeon. 

    Dr. Vora was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. He graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a double major. He then moved to California to continue his medical education but continues to be an avid Chicago sports fan! He obtained his Master's in Public Health from Touro University California, followed by podiatry school at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, CA where he obtained his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Following medical school, he completed rigorous residency training at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco, CA where he trained throughout the Bay Area including Highland Hospital, Palo Alto Medical Foundation, and Kaiser Permanente. Upon completing residency, he sought more specialized training and completed a fellowship in sports medicine, trauma, and reconstructive foot & ankle surgery at HCA Florida Westside Hospital where he also trained at Holy Cross Hospital and Broward General Hospital. 

    Dr. Vora has been very involved in the profession. He has published multiple research projects and lectured at multiple conferences. He spends some of his free time volunteering locally and internationally including Special Olympics locally and Operation Footprint in Honduras. He has also trained multiple students and residents throughout his career. He is faculty on the HCA Florida Westside Hospital podiatric residency and the reconstructive foot and ankle fellowship. He is also actively involved in multiple professional organizations including the FPMA, ACFAS, and APMA. 

    Dr. Vora is a highly skilled and compassionate podiatry associate who brings a wealth of knowledge as the newest addition to our practice. With a commitment to exceptional patient care and a passion for podiatric medicine, Dr. Vora is dedicated to improving the overall health and well-being of their patients. He see patients of all ages including pediatrics and treats any and all conditions of the foot and ankle.
